I'm so thrilled for the season next year. I want to audition for three of the shows. :-D Two of them contain dream roles. I'm so excited!

I give up. Haha. This isn't working with my schedule. I'll still blog, and I'll try to do so at least once a week, so that should groove better. It also helps me to avoid one line blogs because those are a waste of my time and of yours.
I really hate the show that I'm in right now. Its absolutely horrendous. I don't know how it could've been made better, but it just feels horrid. One of the leads walks out twice during rehearsal, missing his scene the first time and learning a part of a dance the second. Are you kidding me? Like when is that ever right? The attitudes are absolutely horrendous and admittedly, my own doesnt help. Irregardless, I just hate it.
I'm not going to say there aren't really good parts. There are. A majority of the Sharks are absolutely fantastic. America is wonderful. Bernardo does a fantastic yell. Maria has a gorgeous voice. I just feel like the bad outweighs the good.
Honestly? I wish that I would have dropped the show. It would've saved me so much grief and time. Lord knows that I could have used the time. I barely have any time to myself and thats killing me. Whatever.

I saw PTP's two one-acts tonight.
They were pretty great.
The first was an original play that was really great, and well writted. Surprisingly enough, it was orignial.
That makes me really happy. That my theatre is producing original works.
The second I had seen before and it was great as always.
I pissed someone off, but oh well. I'm too exhausted to care.

we open in approximately a month. thats four weeks. 28 days.
we had a major rehearsal today and guess how many Jets were missing?
Three.
and while that that seems infitessimally small, when you're trying to set patterns and formations. its huge.

As I sit in callbacks, the true singers and actors are very clear.
There are so few double threats here.
